2017: Plaza de España in the Parque de María Luisa, Seville Spain, was built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. It was built in neo-Moorish style in a massive semi circle with 2 imposing towers at either end. Within the plaza itself, is a 500m long canal that follows the arc of the building’s facade and crossed by 4 ornate bridges. Today, it is a major tourist attraction and also provides a valuable space for the general public to utilise for relaxation and exercise.
